Diving Technology & Methods Requirements: Compliance with training agency requirements, 2.5 GPA, good health and fitness for diving.

Combine practical scuba training with advanced coursework in scientific and specialized diving applications. Gain professional diving certifications and experience in scientific diving research, open to students of any major.

Understand the rules governing human impacts on the environment and the policy processes creating these rules. Learn about maritime environmental issues and their real-world applications in maritime affairs and environmental management.

Offered through a partnership with UTMB, this minor is for University Studies, Oceans, and One Health majors admitted to the Clinical Laboratory Sciences program at UTMB. Apply seven hours of coursework from UTMB toward this minor.
